Step-by-Step Summary

  1. Prepare syringes: Fill one syringe 1/2 full, one 1/4 full. Degas bubbles by pulling plunger.
  2. Connect Remote: Adjust Speed dial to slow. Attach syringe to remote bleed port.
  3. Connect Post: Attach syringe to seatpost bleed port (requires raising the post).
  4. Push Fluid: Push fluid from post syringe to remote syringe to flush air.
  5. Cycle Remote: Press the remote actuator while pushing/pulling fluid to dislodge bubbles in the lever.
  6. Extend Post: Ensure post is fully extended.
  7. Disconnect: Remove syringes and replace bleed screws carefully. Clean up any spilled fluid immediately.

[!WARNING] This guide is specific to hydraulic actuated posts like RockShox Reverb. Most posts are cable actuated and do not require bleeding (only cable replacement).
